Brief
It’s fair to say, we have been with Spire since the beginning. They first approached us in need of a logo design to help get their company off the ground.
Once the logo was agreed, it quickly evolved into business cards, vehicle graphics, site boards and, finally, a 16-page landscape brochure to showcase their sterling workmanship.
The request was to create a brand that was consistent, professional and modern to really set them apart from their competition.
The outcome
We started with our standard practice of supplying a “4-up” – four different logos exploring varying fonts, iconography and layouts.
As Spire started predominantly in plumbing and heating, the idea of a spire, drawn from the iconic Norwich Cathedral, but incorporating flames was the firm favourite.
With the logo agreed, we went with a flame-inspired colour scheme and that would set the template for the rest of the company’s collateral.
What has now become Spire’s signature icon features alone on the cover of their brochure and is a large watermark on the sides of their company vehicles.
